Gentle Exercises with Butterflies

Date: 03/25/2023
Time: 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM
Location: Clubhouse Ballroom

Description:
GENTLE EXERCISES WITH BUTTERFLIES – March 25 from 10:30 – 12
noon in the Ballroom. Last Spring, Jackie Sarner, Four Seasons Resident and
Community Education Committee member, presented “If you plant it, they will
come” about the use of native plants that can enhance the planting areas around our
homes to attract pollinators that are in serious decline.
Health & Wellness has asked Jackie, a noted naturalist and native plant gardening
expert, to continue the story through her presentation “Gentle Exercises with
Butterflies”, featuring the Monarch and Black Swallowtail butterflies. Learn how we
can support these fascinating creatures through all stages of their life cycle – from
eggs to adult. Jackie will discuss their migration to NJ each summer, stages of their
life cycle, and how simply planting milkweed and parsley in your garden provides
vital nutrients for these colorful winged visitors. Come join us and collect your free
milkweed seeds, so you too can gently exercise with the butterflies this summer!
**Please sign-up for the presentation in the Health & Wellness binder in the Lobby
